The Mexican community in Indiana grew after World War I and eventually established this parish with Father Octavio Zavatto. Our Lady of Guadalupe Church was founded in 1927 and has remained a strong Marian community since. Since 2022, Father Diego Florez has been the current pastor.

To foster a faith community committed to the Church's mission, to encourage each person to reach communion and intimacy with Jesus Christ, and to guide toward the love of the Father in the Holy Spirit.
